ABOUT ME

I was a good student, graduating from South Mecklenburg High School as a Top Ten Senior for the Charlotte Public School system and attending N.C. Governor's School. An Honors Student at UNC-Chapel Hill double majoring in English and Psychology, I moved to N.C. State and graduated cum laud.

Over the years, I was Coordinator of Publications at a large orhanage (212-acre campus) serving Western N.C. where I wrote and edited a periodical called The Home Chronicle for 23 years. The circulation was around 42,000 individuals and businesses, as well as churches.

Since leaving there in 2004, I have completed my Master's Degree in theology (Liberty University) and am currently working on two books of historical fiction. I am in process of application for a Ph.D., also.

In 2012, I ran for Mecklenburg County Commissioner; I served on the Charlotte Community Relations Committee--Editorial Board and Foxhole Landfill Committee. I also served on the Neighborhood Streetcar Project.

Active in church, I also believe strongly in the immediate presence of God and prophecy.
